Developing vehicles and machine tools is impossible without mobile acquisition of electronic measurement data. Suitable industry PCs are expensive to own and operate.

mobiLog/CAN™ is a cost-effective alternative for the mobile acquisition of CAN bus data. The mobiLog/CAN™ provides connectors to 2 independent CAN busses. Recorded data will be stored on a removable PCMCIA card. During recording addionally selected data may be shown on up to 9 freely designable online displays.

The measurement configuration is generated using a PC-based program that is part of the system. This program is also used to analyze the recorded data. The transfer of data between the mobile unit and the PC program occurs via the PCMCIA card or a serial connection.

The measurement routine runs on the mobile mobiLog unit and is completely separate from the PC. During data acquisition, data can be displayed on the mobile unit in a customized format.
